wont the seller have to as they have the other part of the ticket?

The seller is the one who needs to claim, I think SD's are meant to arrive before 1pm, or 9am if you pay extra...

The seller should just be able to call RM, give them the ref and the seller will get stamps as a refund I think.

I bet the T&Cs say they'll 'endeavour' to deliver on time but won't guarantee it

That says guaranteed, I'm pretty sure a refund is possible, I know someone that got stamps as they couldn't provide a signiture.

Endeavor I imagine applies to the standard mail services.

Special delievery is guaranteed before 9am or 1pm, depending on where you live. If you live in the "common" areas of great britain this is guaranteed to arrive before these times (sat dont count!) The sender needs to go about claiming, they have to ask for a lost/damaged mail form from the post office, then go from there. I work for post office/royal mail so this is first hand info :) hope it helps

Good luck, I am going through a claim for non delivery which has been ongoing since August 2006, it has been a nightmare but the end is in sight.

Postwatch have been fantastic in trying to resolve my claim

Result my cheque came today !!!!!

It says on the letter that came with it, "payment as a good will gesture"

They didn't deliver my item and say good will gesture:x

Still its all over at last :)

I've had two DVDs and one 360 game go 'missing' in the last month via the royal mail sorting office :x

Each item is covered up to £32 as standard on first class stamped items! If you have proof of postage (these are free when you post your letter/package at the postoffice) you can claim for loss/damage!

Good Luck!

Only at royal mails descretion, and although you have a proof of posting you aint automatically entitled to £32 compo..you have to have proof and receipts of what you sent. They wont just take you word for the value.

We sent valentines day cards and gifts to dad and they went missing - £6.00 in postage and about £60 in presents and cards and stuff. Royal mail want nothing to do with it and claim it arrived :x
