Don't shoot the messenger :-(
I cannot pass on these charges to my customers, so I'm going to lose out, again.:x

They've only gone up by pence haven't they? Why can't that be passed on?

The postage for my biggest selling item has gone up 20p including RD. It's a competitive market and I need to keep my prices as competitive as I can.
SD has gone up 95p, for my items value and weight.
#8
Well, that sucks...didn't they JUST change all the prices and system a few months ago?

Thats why i kind of gave up with ebay:-( i really hacks me off though, that their service seems to deteriorate, and we get to pay for the priviledge!
#10
They should be paying us to use such a second rate service.

Yeah... the post office collect the letters from the post box at the end of my road at 6pm, takes them in a van 30 miles to my nearest main sorting office where someone sorts it out so that it can go in a lorry to another sorting office near its destination, where another bloke sorts through them and another block puts it in his van and takes it to the local post office near where the guy I'm sending it to lives where another person sorts them out and gives them to a man on a bicycle who carries them around for a bit and drops the letter through the recipients door at abut 8am and then charge me upwards of 34 pence... IT'S BLOODY OUTRAGEOUS!!

God, it seems they put there prices up like everyday, ok im exagerating a bit, but still!

I agree, they should be paying us.

I bet my insurance documents dont arrive today, which were posted at around 10am yesterday 1st class - as always.

Totally unrelated to price increase. My OH works on the counter in a Post Office. As you can imagine, some customers get a bit of a strop on when the queue's out the door. His ingenious use of the English language is to tell them to join the 'far queue':giggle:

No, I often write some variation of it when people say that the post office is expensive...

Third or fourth time now maybe... lol.

Hi there

With the increase in stamp costs in April we are thinking of moving to a franking machine. We were with Pitney Bowes a while back but poor service. I found a company called The Mailing Room (themailingroom.com) and they are offering 3 month Free to start. Has anybody used these guys?:?
