you may get £20 or £30 on fleabay looked at some today.....

I would get a new elite, although if your keeping the hard drive you could just get a cheaper model

New xbox around £150 console only i would think.

Have you tried contacting microsoft, i went through 6 360's some out of warranty and they replaced them free, just ring and moan it usually works

All X boxes accept hard drives.

Just buy an arcade console for about £100 - £120

Thanks for the quick replies
Had it over 3 year now I think.

Worth buying an arcade one from fleebay or do you think I'd more than likely be buying someone elses problems?

tbh id buy a new 360 cheap with warranty,

360 problems can be persistant, on 2nd hand ones esp if out of warranty

also if you chose to sell the old xbox on rrod and cables etc seperate/ together , poss recoup half money back on the new one.

It's worth contacting MS even if you think it is out of warranty.

I was sure I had had mine for longer than 3 yrs as the production date seemed to suggest that but MS said I still had over six months left.
