Hi, just wondering if anyone has ever reported any cruelty to the rspca and how long it took them to respond to the situation?

Live in a flat and neigbours opposite leave the dog in the flat all day from about 8-6 never take it out and beat it every single day for at least half hour weather it be because they have had an arguement or weather the dog has gone to the toilet in the house. She doesnt really need a reson and it could be anytime of the day sometimes 3/4 in the morning, this has been going on for probably 2 weeks, so today it happening and i ring the rspca & let them have a listen. Then she chucks (literally) the dog onto the landing and says "i hope you f*****g bleed to death. And the dog just lays there for around half an hour and when the hubby tells it to come in it doesnt move so he carrys it in & wipes up a mysterious puddle.

that's bad. i'd voice my concern to rspca, so they make an unexpected visit asap and hope they find the poor dog alive and rescueable. but i will also take precautions for myself in case they turn out as neighbours from hell too.

see edited post ^^^ above.

no animal deserves to be treated so badly. i mentioned take precautions as in not be afraid but just be aware it could turn into a nasty spat. thinking of the moody woman ... also in order to be prosecuted i think they'll need some proof (condition of dog shd show how it's being treated) and maybe a witness too.

i reported my moms neighbour cause she kicked her dog in the head and it was bleeding i really hate people being nasty to animals your story made me upset im glad your doing the right thing, poor doggy

he very next day I went back and couldn't find the duck so hopefully they saved the duck.

There was this thread the other day:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/221901/dog-cruelty-what-would-you-do-advic/
It seems like the RSPCA were on the job pretty quickly.
I hope that you can get help for the poor dog.
#11
Please please report it.Please help the poor thing. Some people should have the same badness happen to them.
#12
They do have an emergency helpline plus you can ring the local police.

Some people shouldn't have pets....why do they bother if they're going to mistreat them
[mod]#13
What choc said.........if you see it happening you can call the Police and they can intervene. It's part of their job as well to intervene if it's currently happening.

The RSPCA is not all it appears to be. Take a look at

RSPCA-Animadversion

SHG

So be careful when dealing with them and never let them see your animals!
