specs of laptop?
#2
yeah specs needed though tbh, most vista lappy's *should* be hot enough on the CPU / Memory side it's the graphics that will be the most important

Do these help:
Dell Vostro 1000 - AMD Turion Processor
2GB RAM
3GB Available vitual memory

Games made prior to Vista often suffer compatibility issues, Most are hit or miss.

try running them in compatability mode. Right click on the icon and go to properties. There should be the option to run in compatability mode
