It pains greatly me to see these sites/companies not being closed down immediately their MO becomes apparent.

I got stung too, unaware they lock you into a subscription, which amounted to £89 per month, i phoned the company and cancelled right away, for those who are struggling to find their phone number it's 02031294194, good luck people.

Its crafty as it is under the £100 credit card protection. So the credit company do not have to do anything.
You have agreed to the T&C's by applying for the offer.

Why is amazon hot deals UK etc not insisting that the charges are made absolutely clear eg you are agreeing apparently to £89 and £99 pounds per month which is a staggering amount. The arrow directs the eye away from the terms and conditions and cons you into thinking you are paying less than £7 shipping and handling. As the credit card co. have been fully aware of this scam do you think a refund will be automatic? Rvtl and equinox are a con.

They don't have to do anything but a lot of the time they will, really depends on the advisor you're talking to wants to be helpful

My credit card is being monitored by MasterCard so will let you all know if they are able too organise a refund I feel they are a despicable company who need to be fined jailed and closed down.

I recently got talked into taking a free trial of RVTL by phone after not completing an on-line offer for a free trial. I paid the postage got my free trial and decided its not for me. I tried to e-mail them but its always the wrong e-mail address and they cannot help me so I phoned them and was told that they do not do free trials and I have to pay the postage to return what is left of the creams to them or pay the full price of the product and become a customer. Also when looking up RVTL on the internet I get warnings that their site is malicious.

Would be nice to hear back from the op, more to find out how the cream has helped his/her face more than anything.

I would recomend speaking to your credit card provider and Consumer Credit on 02081850710
#24
They tried charging us for goods that we had not received and we obtained a partial refund from our credit card provider

I was also dozy and just ordered both the wonder potions without thinking.
Read all the comments...obviously after giving my credit card details... and freaked the f. out.

I immediately called Equinox RVTL scam city... on this number 02031294194 left by a nice person earlier in this thread.
Next time people be helpful and put the numbers you used to get through to save others from the hassle.

They said they couldn't refund the postage costs but they have cancelled my future orders/subscriptions (that I didn't know I signed up for).

The guy on the phone was actually friendly and helpful and I immediately got an email confirmation from both RVTL and Equinox that my accounts have been deactivated.

My bank told me off and said to ALWAYS check reviews read terms etc before giving your details.
Let's hope I remember next time when someone promises me eternal youth for under a tenner...

I'll update if they do take out any money after the £2.95/£3.95 and good luck to fellow fools :-(

I did the same . This company should be stopped complete rip off scam

ordered both of these so called free trials last week for my mrs to try and they turned up today. well then i have found this and other sites warning of the scam they are pulling, is especially hard for me as i have limited eye site and cannot read small print, it took me ages to order trying to read normal stuff. well sent both companies in the us a email tonight to cancel and will be into the bank 1st thing monday morning to put a stop on any money going out and have my card stopped. [email protected] and [email protected] are both email adresses which to send it to, i also sent one using there own msg system as well at https://www.equinoxdna.com/contactus.php ALSO ONE TO [email protected] just to make sure
#28
I would personally also ring them up.I think that is in their terms and conditions on this number 02031294194 and ask them to stop your orders

I placed an order thinking it was a free trial, this morning, via facebook. read all the reviews and realised it was a a programme, should have read the small print. the number i was given was unobtainable, scared me to death. saw the number 0203 1294 194 on here and rang with my order number and cancelled, the gentleman tried to talk me out of it offering a reduced programmed of £39 every 30 days instead of £99! I still declined and asked him to cancel the order. I hope to god that is the end of it otherwise I will go to trading standards.

If you fell for this scam, as I did you will need to ring 02031294194 before the end of the trial period. You will be given a returns number for each product and advised to send the products back by Recorded Delivery. You can track who signs for this at the returns address in Surrey (England). No action will take place until the products are returned. The telephone number above has been posts several times above. Thank you for this.

Once ordered and trial-ed, I called them and they said in order to cancel I had to return the empty packaging to "P.O. Box 42388, Larnaca, Cyprus" with a "RMA" number which they provide when you call them. So keep any packaging when it arrives.....plus, I immediately called my bank and put a block on the merchant "skincarexpert" taking any further payments from my account. So £2.95 doesn't seem too bad for a pot of face cream (plus whatever the p&p to cyprus is going to be!) JUST BE SURE TO CANCEL FUTURE PAYMENTS BY CALLING YOUR BANK.
***UPDATE***
Almost a year after the face cream scam, I have received a debt collection letter from "Goldman Reeves" attempting to collect £63 outstanding from RVTL. It was not sent by recorded delivery nor signed, and personally I believe it to be a bogus company or opportunistic company (if you look them up on companies house website, it is one American guy who has only just set this company up with no details of what the company's operations are about) OR it has been set up by the clever folk of RVTL to continue trying to rinse more money out of people! It essentially was an OFFER to pay the £63 but added that if I didn't respond within 30 days that I would be accepting the debt. I wrote back to the PO Box address at the top of the letter, plus the address listed on the companies house website saying there was no debt, and listed my personal fees for any future communications with the company. I sent this by recorded delivery, and also sent copies to trading standards.
I followed RVTL's T's and C's to the letter, and put a block on them taking any more money from my account, yet they STILL try and scam more money! :(
Don't give up people! AND MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK THEM FROM YOUR BANK!

Also fell for this scam, sent back the creams to get some refund to their p.o. box in Cyprus but stupidly, not-tracked. now they pretend they never receive them. has anybody sent the creams back with recorded delivery in Nov. 2015 and already received the refund? if you don't mind sharing the tracking number I would like to try to use it to prove my delivery. might not work but worth trying anything to get money for those horrible people.

I was on the DR Oz site and purchased the RVTL and Equinox creams for £5.00. Today I have had 2 paymenst of £99 and £93 taken from my account!!!! My bank suggests I contact them but I havve no contact details, does anyone have a number or email...anything, I can't afford to have that type of money taken from my account without my permission....I am fuming...need help!

Scam, Scam, Scam!!! I feel like jumping on a plane to Larnaca, Cyprus, finding these people and punching them all in the face. I am sick and tired of us Brits being ripped off by foreigners. No wonder we are racist. They had me too, just like you people have mentioned, cost me £192 and the Courier they use Hermes, are just as unhelpful. I did not receive my first shipment just before Christmas as they said I had. They said it was put through my private letterbox. 2nd shipment was received, exactly the same but signed for by me. I tried to put this through the letterbox and guess what ? it was too big to go through. Hermes say get in touch with company and company say can't help because you purchased from a retailer. Both as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. I will be spreading news of this company far and wide on social media. Please be careful when purchasing from ads on the Internet.

Yes this Equinox is one hell of a scam, you don't find out about the details until you give your bank details then you get the information.
I did manage to get through and told them I did not want the free sample and I did send a email, they then said to me to send the package pack and I would be reembursed, I said that it would cost £14.00 for postage and insurance, the person then said post it normal and keep the receipt.
But then you read that if the product does not arrive you don't get your money back, or if it's delivered and it damaged you don't get your money back and they still take money out from your account.
What is odd they say it's a trial but you get 2 standard size containers this is the one I still ended paying for even when I told the pond life I had chandelier my mind, what a con.
If you read people have been sending it back and Equinox say they have not received the package, people have even sent emails informing them that they do not want anything to do with this shananigans and guess what Exuinox still took the money because they revived no email.
If they were a honest company the information should be there prior to giving bank details
not bank detail then the required information.
Scam and sham

I too sent products back to Cyprus, same PO box but 5 different company names. Finally package is on way back as no UK delivery company will deliver to a Cyprus PO Box as they require a special license for this. I have tried several e-mails to Cyprus Postal services who deal with PO boxes just to find if it even exists, but so far no reply. Have a go at 'Cyprus P O boxes and see if you can find if the box actually exists.]

I notice that RVTL are offering their facial cream as a free offer again under the health savvy banner on facebook.PLEASE read the small print you have 10 days to evaluate their product and then they will charge your credit card £97 per month plus postage.I kid you not This is serious.

These scammers dodged TrustPilot only because their website is unavailable.

Still, there's plenty other websites that have reviews of customers who were scammed like this one: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam_alerts/equinox.htm

I feel so stupid. I have just found out I have been scammed after seeing an advert on Facebook last month. I ordered the RVTL anti aging cream for £4.95. Having just looked at my bank account, £93 has been taken and I feel sick. I have no goods to show for it just a 1oz pot of cream. I rang the bank but was advised its not fraud as I didn't read the terms and conditions, however, they have blocked the company. This was just an offer for £4.95 with no conditions as far as I could see. I will be ringing that 0203 number first thing Monday morning so thank you for listing it. I think it's disgusting and something needs to be done. Does anyone know where or how to take it further?
