i've booked flights for 7 of us, but I haven't got everyones detail yet, I was wondering whether I could submit SOME but not all of the details, then give the booking info for my friends to check it. and if it was wrong, whether I could change it or whether I had to get it right first time

... so i've got to do it all at once and get all of the details right first time round?

You do not want to get anything wrong when booking with Ryanair because they charge loads for any alteration - and that is IF you can contact them!! Be careful and do everything correctly.

thats why i was hoping there might be some kind of save button before booking, so i can get all of my mates to check their details individually. they each text me their details so mistakes could happen... i guess that isn't possible though

Get them to email you their details. I have been caught out a few times with Ryanair - when the baggage allowance was 15kg my husband and I used to take one suitcase weighing 30kgs - we turned up at the airport once and the rules had changed (we could not share allowance anymore!) They wanted £175. In the end we bought another suitcase and shared out our stuff. We then had to pay £30 each way extra for the second suitcase!! In saying that I still book with Ryanair but am just really careful. :)

When booking a large group with Ryanair it's best to split booking into two or more smaller groups.
That way you can pay for priority boarding for some but not all of group.
Conversely, it's best to pack A group in an organised way. That means you can split heavy stuff among you and not get stung with excess baggage costs.
Don't get me started on Ryanair!!!

When you book and pay for the flights you only need their full and correct spelling of their names as per their passport. You then need passport number etc when you check in online, from 14 days before you fly. The extra cost for priority boarding is worth it! Remember a name change will cost you £100 each one.

How could you have " booked flights " without having their details?

Best to let each person book their own flight, that way they are responsible for their own mistakes.
