Ryanair - luggage.

I was looking at travelling by ryanair to bournmouth in May, but am slightly confused by the Ryanair site.

The flights are £2.50 each way (theres two of us) so thats £10 in total.

We need to take a small bag with us, but i cannot see if ryanair allow for carry on hand luggage in the flight price, or do i need to pay the £10 per bag per leg of journey (£20, so a backpack costs four times as much to fly as I do) that they seem to charge for putting bags in the hold.

I'm all very confused, any help would be greatly appreciated guys

55cm x 40cm x 20cm

the 20cm dimension seems quite small, even though i'm only taking a backpack

55cm tall x 40cm wide x 20cm deep should be enough for a normal backpack.

I think they also impose a 10 Kg weight limit on your hand luggage now.

yes they do, that'll be fine as there wont be anythin heavy in the bag, its essentially just the overnight essentials, change of essential clothing, toiletries etc

the thing they are really strict on is if you take like a handbag or laptop bag as extra.. it all has to fit in one bag or they go crazy... the amount of times i've almost had a go at the baggage people when they shout at my gf! but she never learns either! Ive had to put it in my backpack now lol!

Toiletries could be a problem, they will have to conform to the regulations http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/notices.php?notice=060811-UK-EN

Can anyone recommend a bag that fits those dimensions that I could buy online?
