Me walking home sometimes causes more damage then driving.

Shouldn't have to apply to only this Christmas or New Year. This should apply to every day regardless what celebration it is. Suspects enforced to see the damages caused by their reckless disregards to human life.

Regardless of what you've eaten you could be over the limit the day after!!

Personally think Drink Drivers should have to do Community service as Crash Test Dummies.

I was young once and during my military career I made the mistake. No accident (I was actually parked up in a pub car park, keys in the ignition, messing about with a girl as you do and I got caught). One months fine, posted to Div HQ (most won't understand) and a years ban but the only thing that stopped me ever drink driving again was being taken to the car inside the camp that had suffered an accident from another drink driver and seeing the blood and other mess left behind.

Our justice system is far less hard - I'd have probably got 3 months ban and maybe £200 fine (1/4 of my pay @ that time) a slap on the wrist me thinks.

I suspect most young'uns forget about these videos when they are out and will only learn the lesson when it's too late (either they've lost family/friend or caused the accident). Hopefully the videos do help reduce the totals but think it's more to do with the police doing these spot checks.

I hope everyone stays safe and enjoy themselves - there is zero need to drink and drive...there is no excuse and I wouldn't want anyone to see what I saw 30 years ago because you'll never forget it.

oops sorry bazzamone don't really know why I hit the reply button

Sadly we all know alcohol changes you and for a lot they wont be thinking about these adverts when they chance it. I do think what you had to go through would stop more people but they'd have to go through it first to prevent them doing it in the first place.
