Apparently a new customer is defined by somebody who hasn't shopped with them for six months, so you can take up this cashback more than once.

Wow £12 I've never known it to be that high before!

You can also get the cashback more than once if you get your partner to open an account aswell, as long as the email addresses are different.

There's another little trick with Tesco's that my mate told me about for buying stuff like crates of beer.

For example if they have an offer on crates of Stella, let's say that during the offer the crates have been reduced from £17 to £10 and let's say you also have a "£10 off a £50 spend" voucher.

Instead of having to buy 5 crates to be able to use the voucher, if you manage to put the crates in your cart BEFORE the offer begins (while they're still priced at £17) you can go back in again when the offer is on and as long as you don't remove them from the cart they'll still appear as £17 but you will only be charged £10 at checkout. This means that you only need to buy 3 crates to use the "£10 off a £50 spend" voucher instead of the usual 5.

Broken down summary:

5 crates listed as £10 each = £50
+ Typical £5 delivery charge
- £10 voucher
- £10 Quidco
= Total £35 for 5 crates
= £7 per crate

Vs.

3 crates listed as £17 each (but still only costing £10) = £30
+ Typical £5 delivery charge
- £10 voucher
- £10 Quidco
= Total £15 for 3 crates
= £5 per crate

I have my account set up with all my favourite crates of beer, at their highest possible prices, already waiting in the shopping cart for whenever the offers come on!

Dont need to do that, tesco always charges the full price and then deducts the difference at the end (AFTER they have used any vouchers)

So, you can do it with 3 crates even if you put them in your basket when the offer is on

Works with BOGOF as well, so you could get all BOGOF offers and it would look like this -

Shopping £50
Voucher -£10
BOGOF discounts -£25
Total = £15
