Don't know yet, they left an answer message on my mobile, I have to call them tomorrow to get the full details as they don't have my CC card on file anymore.

I would be guessing 10% or something.

Emails after emails - they were point blank refusing, in the end I said I was going to take it to a small claims court - then got the phonecall today.

I originally bought a 60gb from Woolworths but nothing I can do about that one now...

Thanks - but I can't even remember what card it was on, or if I still have that card or any records of the purchase.

Where would the credit card company get the money from, since all of woolworths money will have gone by now

It's now not fit for the purpose it was sold for. The ability to install OtherOS, or if you don't update you lose the ability to play latest games and use the online facilities.

Under the Consumer Credit act credit card and finance providers are equally liable too for any purchase over £100, whether the seller is still in business or not. The op should try them if he can find details.

Are you actually stupid comparing that to a PS3 feature?

exactly what i was thinking!
if the OP never used the other OS feature then that's the only reason

I agree to an extent (I used it) but a feature was removed and that isn't ok.

It's the principle of the matter! Good on anyone fighting the cause, if I could find the receipt from mine I'd be pursuing it too.
