Saint + nick = gifts?

Hey got this quiz in work ad one of the questions are:
Saint
+ Nick
______
Gifts

It says to replce the letters with numbers and work it out but goes no addition information also cant find the answer anywhere on google lol any help appreciated :)

    id imagine the answers lies in numbers to letters conversion on a phone abc=1 etc but dont have an old phone so shrug

    If it's a simple conversion then G>S whatever you are using.

    Phone keypad but it does work out nor does replacing
    The letters with their number plae in the alphabet.
    With no clues this seems like its just made up

    Total add = 63

    Hmm nothing here and for alpha theory would need to work out to be

    It's possible i believe. I just need to get my head down and figure it out. Its going to drive me mad now.

    Its a simple trial and error puzzle (with many combinations :{ )

    Assuming each (letter) number is unique and between 1 and 9 there are six solutions:

    ANSWER: 19654+5687=26341 (eg S=1 A=9 I=6 N=5 T=4 etc)
    ANSWER: 19684+8657=26341
    ANSWER: 29564+6578=35142
    ANSWER: 29574+7568=35142
    ANSWER: 39851+5862=48713
    ANSWER: 39861+6852=48713

    How about this:
    Solution: 79345+4312=83657
    Solution: 84172+7156=91328

    and including 0's:


    Solution: 83072+7056=90128
    Solution: 84063+6075=90138
    Solution: 24065+6087=30152
    Solution: 74065+6092=80157

    ... and 7600 possible solutions if the numbers don't have to be unique and can include zero. (Such as 00000+0000=00000...)

    Started doing it algebraicly then realised I'd get the answer much quicker if I wrote a program to do it for me! The other solution(s) should be fine too, obviously the 84172+7156=91328 is best as its just numbers from 1 - 9.
