before u buy why not go into your local mobile phone shop and try it out, personally never really liked touchscreen models, screen gets dirty all the time from finger marks and found them unreliable

Been in the local phones for you and had a look. The tocco is slightly smaller than the omnia and the tocco is also avilable in pink - yes I'm a girlie I know!

Was after recommendations from people that use them to see if there's any real difference as you can't really tell from just holding them in the shop.

thanks to those that have replied

omnia is windows based, so more customisabilty but fiddly, fat fingers will find it difficult to hit stuff, so need the stylus for that, but the stylus that comes with it is in the shape of a girly mobile phone lip gloss accessory and hands of the phone, no dedicted slot for it. 3.2 inch screen and accelerometer sensor, GPS receiver

tocco is symbian based s60 i believe, like the n95 software, easier and simply to use, it does lack wifi, lesser internal memory (232mb compared with 8/16GB), 2.8 inch screen and no accelerometer sensor.

main difference will be the operating system in the two phones, whether you want winmo or symbian

hey, i have used the tocco and the samsung armani. Not really a fan of the tocco, because have found the touchscreen not very responsive, and the software slightly slow. The armani on the other hand was very fast and i absolutely loved using it. Havent been able to get my hands on the omnia yet, but has a lot better features. I guess it depends what you want out of the phone, as normally on upgrade the omnia is slightly more expensive.

Omnia Pros

Proper Touchscreen Keyboard. Tocco has touchscreen normal 2 ABC; 3 DEF etc
GPS built in
More internal memory

Cons

Slightly bigger
Memory card under battery. Need to remove cover/battery to remove flash. Tocco has memory card slot in side.
