Samsung Tocco Lite

Hi,

I am considering purchasing the Samsung Tocco Lite however I am unsure if I will like the handset or be more annoyed with it. I have previously liked Samsung mobile phones in general however I am not a fan of touch screen phones as I text a lot. Also one of my friends has the normal Tocco phone (non-lite version) and when I had a go of this I just found it really clunky and unresponsive.

Does anyone have any opinions on this phone to help me make a decision? Also does anyone know if this phone will be basically the same as the normal Tocco handset with regards to response etc?

Thanks in advance!

I have a Tocco, is okay but does crash a lot. Once you get used to the texting it's fine. I will however be upgrading soon and will be moving away from Samsung as I find they have a very limited shelf life in terms of reliability.

why not go into a phone shop and ask to try the phone out just make sure you close your ears off to them trying to sell you a contract lol, i have a friend that has the tocco lite and she is a texter full time and really likes it the touch phone part just takes practice lol but everyone is different so trying it yourself before buying is your best bet

Yea I was thinking this but I dont think you can make your mind up sometimes even if you try it for a good ten minutes. I like the element of surprise as well when you get a phone in a way. Sad I know!!! lol

There have been a lot of very good reviews for the phone and I have unlimited internet on my sim so is a waist not being able to use it. Doesn't this phone have a full web browser?

Tocco touch screen is delayed and slow. Abit frustrating.

I got the TOCCO aswell - I would say good phone for around 6 months before it totally dies on you.

I did actually get the LG Viewty about 3 years ago or whenever it came out and didnt like it because of the size and also that stylus thing that came with it.

What is the web browser like on the phone?

I HATE the web browser on the phone. It's really clunky, constantly refreshes the screen even when you can see everything you need and takes an age to load up. I find that on Orange anyway.
