I am looking to replace my sat nav but want one that i can get really cheap or free updates what brand is best for this?

Tomtom be far the best, model and map choice dependant on where you intend to use it!!

isnt it about £30 a year to update a tomtom?

No need to spend anything Mapshare updates your map with corrections found by other tomtom users which is usually more accurate than any map upgrades you could purchase, you could go at least a couple of years without having to consider upgrading!!!!

You could try the Navigo ones from ebuyer..........

Agreed. From £44.99 - then just load TT on it from your friendly download centre!
