Peeps, is it me and my beer habit but i cannot seem to find any reference to the above, has it come out and i missed it, is it due out? surely this film is made for Blu Ray or have i just lost the plot! :)

The reason will be due to it been a Paramount movie and the HD DVD saga from the start of 2008 -- a lot of the Paramount stuff is coming over to blu ray but taking longer than expected..

In the next few months we should see more and more Paramount movies hitting the blu ray sector..

Bit of old news below from the start of last year...



n the short term, a switch by Paramount - which is owned by media group Viacom - would allow Blu-ray to benefit from a string of blockbuster movies due for release by the studio in the coming year, including the return of Harrison Ford as archaeologist action hero Indiana Jones. In the long term it would mean just one major Hollywood studio, Universal, left supporting Toshiba's technology.

The war between HD-DVD and Blu-ray has been on the boil for several years without clear signs of a winner emerging. Both formats use new laser technology which allows far greater amounts of information to be stored on a single disc - a development which allows consumers to watch high-definition video at home.
