Scam Help please advise

my partner very stupidly ordered a free trial of some pills from http://www.digestit.com/. i know the website looks like a complete scam and i dunno why she even ordered without me looking.

price said pay for p+p which was £3 something and after a month they would deduct £14.99 for refills, well invoice shows they charge the £3 something for p+p but a further $80 in dollars for the product so they just emptied my partners account ( im main money person luckily and more clever ).

rang bank and because she only has a debit card they cant stop the payment, the website/invoice states if shes not happy with the product then return for full money back. so i suggested her to refuse the package if it turns up and ring for a refund hoping it isnt a scam.

80% chance it is a scam , anything else i can do? tried ringing but lines closed.

£3 + £14.99? Hot deal!
Don't forget cashback!

cheers for that could at least be serious, its meant to be a weight loss pill and if you look like your avatar maybe order some for yourself.

i wouldn't refuse delivery, if they don't refund you then you end up with nothing. take it on the chin and enjoy your partners clean colon

I had a look and try bottom of the page -> Terms, legal and herbal safety guidelines -> pop up box -> section 4 'shipping' has a link to a page where you can 'click here to manage your order'
Not sure if you can do anything on that order management page?

I wouldn't say it was a complete scam site, but I'm quite sure the product you will receive won't be worth anywhere near what you end up paying.

It's difficult to advise without seeing exactly what you have been charged for on your invoice, but just looking at the terms of service (section 8 "Paid Offers") says one of their products is $39.95 + shipping, which could quite easily be another $40 to the UK knowing how ridiculous postage costs from the U.S. usually are.

their terms and conditions indicate a refund possible on unopened products, I'd try that first.

pretty sure it says due to high volume orders no order can be cancelled :(

you might get customs duty asked for via the Post Office.

Read the TOS page.. http://www.digestit.com/tos.php

Oh, and Google. You're not the only person to make this mistake.

was it really necessary to post those pictures?!

OP, you can return the product unopened within 90 days by requesting an RMA number (shipping cost isn't refunded). See section 7 of the terms of service.

I may be wrong, but if you refuse delivery you haven't received the goods, so you should be entitled to a refund (from your bank) for goods not received?
