Scooter Maintenance

I'm thinking of getting a 50cc Scooter as I was 16 five months ago & can afford one. It wouldnt be used loads, work, football training & going to my mates a few miles away at weekends.

I was wondering if they take much maintenance as my family knows nothing about bikes. The one I am looking at has 24 months warantee so if anything seriouse went wrong it would be repaired but we wouldn't know anything about if you need to do things to it to keep it running smoothly etc. It would be kept in a garage so would be away from rain etc most of the time.

Anyone who has any knowlage about bikes is thaere anything you need to do or is it all quite straight forward?

Be careful ,The one thing i would advise is to take your CBT before you buy a scooter or a m/bike.
