Making a lovely valentines meal tomorrow night (we don't go for all this expensive £40 for 12 roses rubbish but I do like to good a nice meal)

Where is the best place for Scallops? I'm going Morrisons anyway for other bits and pieces so was thinking about picking them up from there?

Morrisons have best meat counters though

Depends very much on your local, when I lived near to Morrisons they had best meat and fish counter awards but mine always smelt awful, and the staff knew nothing.

Personally I tend to favor Sainsburys, but that doesn't necessarily mean much :P

Waitrose and next time you can ask them to order them in for you as well to avoid disappointment.

scallops are included in the M&S valentines meal deal if this helps

Put some mint in the puree, otherwise it could be quite bland.

thats my only choice really as I have the little one (daughter) today so cant go far tbh.

Would you go for whole hog, and do 2 or 3 Scallops on Chorizo and Black Pudd, with a Mint Puree?
