Just been on BBC3 as well. Weirdos

What a silly lot of moron sheep! To sit outside a shop for over 24 hours, just to say you was the first person to enter it. Just goes to show that Apple fanboys are here to stay - unfortunately!

...yeah!

anyways, just finished watching it. I feel like ive just been secretly let in to be informed of the secrets of the giants, even though i know about some (if not most) of them already.

The Apple thing is still the main shocker though. The power of marketing (employees made to fake their cheering and people flying around the world just for the opening) makes people do things drugs can only dream of.

Are you doing this WTP? I noticed a few of your really old threads mysteriously bumped the other day, where the bump had been deleted.

Edit: Scratch that question - my flash says it was you.

Why?

Probably a bit late now, but did the program show an American guy, in his late 40s or early 50s, with a beard, and a slightly abrasive demeanor? Just wondering, since he'd have been there for the grand opening, as he's been there for every Apple Store opening ever. I met him at the Glasgow Apple Store opening.

FWIW btw, these openings are actually pretty odd and interesting. I stuck out for about 4 hours for mine, and it was fun meeting various slightly eccentric people. You don't go and sit still and in silence for the time, you go and have a colossal meetup with similarly bonkers people, which is kind-of magic in its way.
