No I dont mean me

I have details of a really realy good deal for a photography studio based in preston, however my missus is one of the photographers there. Its only a team of 2 photographers but they produce high quality images ranging from child potraits to full glamour modelling portfolios.

I wont go into details as this isnt the place for shamefull promotion but can it be classed as a hot deal?

Of course its all legit and links to the studios website and contact details would be included, but want would like opinions off all especially mods whether its worth posting without it getting deleted.

I'm guessing since you're technically linked to them, that you'd probably have to submit it via the 'Contact Us' link.

BAH - beaten to it.

Good idea - that I shall do, althought its difficult becuase I would have to get there prelimiary approval to get the studio to build a page to link from HUKD because with the nature of the site it contains adult imagery.

unless it is like 99% off i wouldnt bother, photographers charge the earth especially for childrens photographs as they know not many parents refuse the goods

not far off, they called a photographers up the road from where they are based and a shoot with 1 printed A4 image cost £350, these tend to be raw images and quite old fashioned or cheesy.

This image however was taken by my other half of our daughter just yesterday, to have this image professionally touched up and printed A4..... £25, what they are planning is to give free studio time and you only pay for the final images (in the same respect as scool photo's, except the images are good).

Thats quite good, but did you get the hi-res digital files on CD, make up/hair stylist included and each one individually touched up?

Rock - she's not bad behind the camera no, she's even better at photoshop, I've seen her take the most acne ridden teenager and make them look like a filmstar. Seriously you can have anything fixed, teeth/eyes whitened, spots blemishes removed, skin smoothed, enhanced body parts, fat removed.

Mucky - Cheers  she gets it from me :giggle:

Nice picture.

Have they considered a sitting fee with free photo option? It then weeds out the jokers that pop down and have their photos done for free because they have nothing better to do on a saturday afternoon.

Also £25 is very cheap for an A4 shot, As strange as it sounds people could find that offputting, Especially as by offering the image on a cd you are losing reprint orders from Grandparents etc.

I agree, but then again its not my business model. I suppose the thinking is that its a lot easier to get 6 people to buy a picture at £25 than it is 1 person to buy £150.

As for the re-print orders I think its more tempting that the digital files are offered for social networking sites etc, I think they may offer a re-printing service but not at the full £25 per A4

Eh wha? What kind of studio are we talking about here....

its a photography studio, but they also do glamor portfolios, obviously I dont wanna link to them pages so seeing if a "HUKD specific" page could be set up with cutsey cutsey images
