I have been running a very successful domestic cleaning business for past few years that has grown beyond our dreams!! But we have been approached numerous times by another company to buy us out. We have always rejected their offers as we started this business from scratch and enjoyed every step of the way. Their last offer was increased by 30% - but we still refused it.

I would only consider selling if I no longer had a passion for it.

a very good turnover :)

Started with just my friend and I - and now have 18 full time staff and 6 part time., We have won an award from the Business Gateway also which was MASSIVE to us!! Its been a long hard slog - but pay your staff well, treat them well and you will have a great team

edit - lol @ Muffin! Yeah am gonna post my turnover on here!

I'll offer 50p for 99% of the Business.

I'll throw in a back massage too.

Congratulations, knowing that the most important thing is people not profits, pays off for some and it seems to be doing for you :)

what sort of business are you considering selling Johny.

When I sold my pallet business I had been made repeated offers from slough estates for my yard, they eventually made an offer that I could not refuse...I was then made offers for my order book by 3 different companies and a bidding war ensued. I accepted the 2nd highest offer, because they didn't want my stock....so I then sold all my stock, vehicles fork lifts and flat bed trailers separately.

Surprised at you.
Thought all the new jobs were supposed to come from the private sector. Surely you should be looking to employ others not sell up.
