not allowed, but people do it, if your listing is reported then you will be in big trouble

Yep
Ive bought 3 cars from ebay which had bids on them.
They just end listing.
I think it has to end it before last 12 hours.
Or car has died listing ended

a few people have been interested in it then one guy offered me an amount which i was willing to accept, then another guy asked me how much i would take for it so i told him i had been offered X amount and that i was considering accepting it, then next minute he bids on it obviously thinking that now hes done that i cant end the listing lol i suppose the worst that can happen is my account being closed or neg feedback or something.

just let it run its course.......why end it, thats the point of an auction?

why didnt you just have buy it now for the price you wanted?
#7
I wouldn't end the auction until someone has actually paid you the cash, they might not buy it etc and then you've wasted your time.

i wasnt expecting to get much for it as there is no key for it due to my daft partner losing it lol i only listed it today and had alot of interest already.

I have done it a few times...

List it on there for the advert... then when people come to view take a cash offer....

This way saves you from having to pay the ebay final value fees, I always put a reverse on it so it never reaches its price...

Its the cheapest way of advertising apart from the free piston heads site..

Yes its wrong... but ebay fees are wrong..........

i kinow i remember the thread, it was me who suggested putting it on there

told you people be interested that can fix what is a major prob for you is easy for someone with the tools

let it run its course and maybe get more than offered or just end it.....doesnt matter either way
