Morning/Afternoon all :)

I have some little Ugg shoes from my baby i listed them on here but no one bought ( boohoo) anyway i was thinking of listing them on Ebay but reading stories on here has me worried.
Im confident they are 100% Genuine as i got them from a shop ( i dont have reciept) to look at them you can see they are anyone who knows ugg will know straight away they genuine. anyhooo my worry is if i sell on ebay they buyer says they not where do i stand, i see so many stories of people buying fake and they get refunded straight away and keep the item so what if they say a genuine is fake ?? does this happen ? or if they return a fake to me and keep the real and say i sent a fake ?? i know this happens with cds and comp games they retund somthing else does it happen with designer ?
i also have a armani baby romper id like to sell but feel the same about that,
am i being to over dramatic and have read too much into fakes or is there a way i as a seller am protected id rather not sell them if this might happen

What would you lot do ?? i think ill get about £35-£40 for uggs and maybe same for the romper suit. they both bnwt.

As you say there are that many scams and you wouldn't be truly protected from a good scammer.

I don't think there is anyway to 100% cover yourself.

It's a chance you take with ebay, the alternative being that you sell elsewhere or not at all.

If you have low feedbacks on ebay, then most ppl won't trust to buy designer stuff from you anyways.

You'll need to build your feedbacks by selling lesser items first.

Hi
i sell lots of stuff on ebay, and as long as ur honest with listing its fine, if you make them pay paypal it will be ok.
just send recorded and that way u have proof of them receiving it for an extra 79p, less hassle.

i will be honest and i know payapl is ok and recorded the thing im thinking is if its a scammer and they say its fake where do i stand i know its not fake so worried it might happen and what position would i be put in,
i do often sell on ebay and always send recorded but normally just used things that are low value so never had a comeback

^^ very true deek, if she sells them to a scammer who claims they are fake and then returns the fake ones the seller has no come back unless you can prove the ones returned are not the original ones which is going to be nigh on impossible.

We have a dress agency nearby which sells lots of designer items; could you try selling them through one of those if you have one locally? At least there is no risk involved there, even if you make a but less money.

You should have kept the receipt - that would have been the ticket to salvation.

A dress agency is a shop which basically sells clothes which you no longer want in return for a percentage of the sale price, although I don't know how much; you take the item in to them and they display it in the shop until it sells. There is a really good one where I am which sells a lot of upmarket things, including child and baby things. You might have to google and see if there is anything near you, but at least that way you don't have to worry about ebay risks.
