Selling item 3rd party site, payment question

Hi,

I'm selling an item on a well known auction site and the auction is due to end on the 5th but I have had a question from a buyer but is saying he is transfering money to his paypal which won't clear untill the 12th and if he could make payment then.

He has a feedback score of about ~80 and all positive but was just wanting to check if there was anything I should be aware of?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

sounds fine, he/she may not even win the item.
Obviously dont send the item until payment has cleared.
(usually if you dont have funds in your Paypal account, it automatically takes it out of your account)

Sounds more likely that he wont have the cash until the 12th (payday?) cant really see anyting to be wary of as long as you dont post until paid you will be covered.

At least he has been upfromt with you before bidding

There's nothing to stop anyone paying by Paypal cheque, which can take 10 days to clear anyway, if you are accepting Paypal.

Thanks for the responses I was just a bit worried as I hear so many scare stories of things gone wrong.

Thanks
