Hi everyone,

I have two of the same xbox 360 game brand new and I was thinking of selling them through to Cex via their website. Would I get their 'we will pay this amount for the game' figure or, if not, what do you do if they offer a figure that is less than this? Most importantly though, are they to be trusted?

Thanks.

You'll get the same price - Brand new or not
The price is fixed for 5 days after you place your 'order to sell'

they are trusted.

Sorry to hijack, but what are they like to buy from online? Sold PES2010 on PS3 for £28 credit note and am wondering if I should have took the cash as apparently the condition is appaling of some of their used games. Looking for Killzone 2 and FIFA 09 and they seem pretty cheap (£10 and £3). Can I return if they are scratched??

all games come with at least 6 months warrenty, they normally will pick out a half decent copy, if they can, but obviously if they only have a few in stock, it's going to be hard to find a 'mint' conditioned game.

But if you hve any doubts over it, send it back or take it to a store to change :)

everything that i have bought from them has been spotless tbf not a scratch on it

and to answer the ops question - they have a set list of prices - although i went to trade in some champ manager games the other day and instore they offered my 70p whereas online was offering £6!!!!! so always check the online prices and if they offer you less instore send it to them instead

Just beware that their customer service is pretty ropey if something goes wrong, personally I wouldn't trust them with anything of value.

I sent it recorded. Hopefully they wouldn't claim not to have received it when they had, but you never know.........

Recorded delivery is (always) well worth the extra 70p postage though IMO

You'd think so, but after problems for the last week, of them claiming they didnt have one order, but processed another, both in the same package, I'd send each order seperatly, and definatly recorded.

From what i've been told from my guy, it's swamped atm, silly busy.
