Do you not have the 'restore disk'???

A clean install would help.
But to wipe all data is hard i norm take out hard drive and destroy it with a hammer sand paper and welding torch that works.

Does not help with resale.

either format the hard drive or restore to factory settings , this can be done by disc if it came with your machine , or it may have the restore partition already on the drive

i know with my acer PC i was given 3 blank DVD disks to create a system restore myself , but my vaio laptop had a system restore on the drive, when booting up your laptop , hold down the F8 button and it will show you your hard drive and partitions on it

to delete your browsing history open up a web browser go to tools , internet options, browsing history , Delete , then check all boxes and click on Delete , also make sure the delete browsing history on exit is selected , as for the deleting of pics , do as previously suggested....

Pointless trying to remove a hard drive in a laptop if you have no experience as can be rather fiddly on some models
