i thought i had put a block on people with low feedback will have to check and cancel his bid, i feel bad doing that incase he is a genuine buyer as they have to start somewhere but more than likely they will be scammers.

Yep... Better to be safe than sorry!

I was scammed in my earlier eBay days... Person paid £400 for my phone, I sent it off, then he reversed the transaction (chargeback)... eBay called it a 'Total Knockout', lost everything & weren't able to claim anything back :x... Am a PRO now though... Can fish out any dodgy deal!!!

Its worse when you've got a buy now price and then you have to go through the hassle relisting .

I wouldn't worry about it for now, worry if they win, chances are someone will outbid them, maybe a newb thinking they are going to get a laptop for 99p:-D If it gets too the last 24hours and they are top bidder cancel it then.

dont worry if you are a personal seller you can state no returns......ive sold quite a few on there and several have been brand new just registered users.....out of them ive had 1 try it on and paypal ended up being on the ball.....as long as its paypal eligible and you send tracked youll be fine

you are best updating you listing to block bidders with less than 2 feedback also block bidders from other area's of the world you do not wish to post. You can do all this by clicking on revise button and then scrolling down to the bottom of the listing. In regards to your bidder. Cancel there bid once you have upgraded your listing.

Cancel bid >http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html#canceling

The other way to find out where the person is registed from is to enter there user ID on the 'find user id tab', this will then display where the user is registered from.
