Accept cash on delivery to avoid any scams. Or bank transfer. Even from those few details it sounds dodgy.

DONT DO IT, once its collected it will disappear and you will have no proof of it being collected (or at least any paypal will accept) they will claim not received and you will be a bike (or value of) short, be especially wary if they offer to send extra to pay for the transport direct when they collect, as it will be someone they work with so you will be down on that as well.

I'd rather say cash on collection, you propose they send the bike then the buyer pays OP only once they have received it?

I bet as soon as you mention cash on collection only they do a runner. I have had many many of these saying they will pay up front because it is either a present or they are working abroad etc etc...This is a scam, not worth losing sleep over. If you are selling something of high value then you should really only accept "cash on collection".

What bike is it btw?

SCAM -- Avoid... or do cash on collection ONLY.

You would be better off just leaving it in a car park with the keys in and walking away.

If you decide to follow the above suggestion can you let me know which car park it will be and when :D

P.s. I too would seriously avoid this proposition, it will definately be a scam.

lol, of course not, I bet they have a cousin, friend, or some relative that will collect on their behalf, they usually do.
