Hmm, quite a personal one.

You could try here for a valuation: Link

I would expect someone with the initials ACR to pay around £200 maximum though.

Just my opinion.

ACR would be quite common initials, but you're right when you say you'll not get much for it. These plates are around £250 now from DVLA but were on sale for around £1k on release

Not really, you never actually own them, you only have the right to display them, subject to DVLA conditions.

If I remember correctly, you may be able to get the assignment fee of £80 back. I'm sure you'll get a lot more for the plate privately though.

Do you not want to keep it? Are there not companies that buy them ? I could never part with mine,its not really valuable but I love it :)

Try Regtransfers they can sell plates for you or obviously e-bayisaripoff you can list it on also.
