Hi all.

Just broke up from school and have 6 weeks off!! Yey. Anyhoo have a shed load of stuff in this house that I need to get rid of and now the time to do so :-)

I have only ever sold a few things on ebay before, years ago, and it appears that my account is frozen? What method do you guys think is the best way to off load this stuff. Via ebay? Here? or do a car boot sale?

Thanks guys for any advice...

Well it generally depends on what it is you're selling.. . .

Car Boot sale way easier if you got the transport, try here on HUKD if you don't fancy doing one.

I was meant to have 1 but got let down as per usual,am selling on eBay,be easier to throw out the stuff as it's time consuming with everything I've got on at moment but I'm not chucking away cash!

Here is always a good one. Ebay is so expensive now

depends what your selling but I'd go with ebay. even after fees etc your still more like to end up getting more than on here or at a car boot and a lot less hassle from people wanting something for virtually nothing, but do your research first and see what the type of stuff your selling is going for on here and ebay then take it from there.

Car boot sale is best option for instant cash in your hand, but buyers may barter hard to knock the price right down - you might as well pay them to take it off your hands. If you do a boot sale, be brave and stick to your price as much as you can, but be realistic.

Probably paypal gift, that way you don't have to incur the usual fees etc...

I know eBays fees are not good but it is still by far the best place to sell even after you have paid your fees.

Just following a fee tricks of the trade to get maximum exposure and lowest prices......such as lowering you starting price to give you lower listing fees, have things finish on a Sunday afternoon when a lot of people go on, do a 10 day listing so it spreads over 2 weekends.....................
