He doesnt want the phone he is being sent so can we take it to a Tmobile shop and swap it or is it easy enough to send back them???

There might be a returns label in with the phone and if not, just ring the number on your paperwork that came with the phone and arrange the return

How do you know its the wrong phone, is it just because of the email? Because the email may just have had a typo? You could call them now and check what they have sent, but its quite likely they have made a mistake on the email. I think someone else had a similar thing on here in the last few days, where they had an email saying they were going to receive one phone (that they didn't want) but actually received a different phone.

We asked for a MDA Compact III they have sent out a Sony Ericcson W580i phone according to the email
Will have a look to see if i can find the thread.

If you havent received it yet you could always refuse delivery

Pinkkitty has given the best advice.

You have 7 days to refuse/return the phone without penalty, but this is often difficult to achieve. The simplest answer is to refuse to accept the phone when it is deliverd, and in the meantime use the website to contact TMobile and tell them why you have refused it and request an explanation for the SonyEricksen. It is usual for a supplier to offer a different phone if your original choice is not available, and will be in their terms and conditions.

You must contact them to cancel within the 7 days or they will simply charge you regardless.

Its ok after all that they rang today and said it was a generic email and they are sending MDA out to us in the next 24hrs!
