I would imagine soon unless someone comes up with a rescue package as the Russian rescue plan has fallen through

Just becuase they have lost the Premier games it does not mean the company will go bankrupt and cease trading straight away.

When "On digital" (BSB) went under they showed programs for 6 months before going off air.

Setanta may merge with ESPN or Virgin or some other company and carry on trading under another name.

(I am not saying this is a reason for staying with them as many people subscribe for the Premier matches, but just pointing that just because they have lost the Premier matches it does not mean they will automatically stop showing all their programs).

Some people may stay subscribed for the golf for example.

No not at all.

I suggested to my teenage son just today we cancel and he said can we keep it is he likes the American sport that they show.

I must admit I only ever watch Premier football on it (only reason I subscribed)
