Setting up new Ebay/Paypal account

I have been selling on Ebay for a while and have recently stopped receiving instant payments, and now I have to ship item first, which kind of ruins my dropshipping business!

I think this happened because I hat low marks for dispatch times (because I was sending alot of things Second Class, and people will mark me down because they dont familiarise themselves with shipping time for second class)

I phoned Paypal, and for once got through to someone who pronounced my name right and was actually pretty helpful. She said alot of people are complaining about this.

What I was unable to do was get any info about when I might start receiving instant payments again, I suppose I have to phone Ebay for this, but I know the response I willl get 'you will get instant payments again when computer says yes' !

So I think I may as well create a new Ebay and Paypal account, with new address, bank details, IP address everything. Has anyone got experience of re-registering with Ebay and Paypal and not getting caught?!

Please no responses saying i'm morally wrong, if you feel that way then say nothing at all!. I rely on Ebay to eat, so I dont care whether its wrong!.

have you tried eBid, amazon marketplace, play.com?

with amazon marketplace you have to ship first then get paid, not sure about others. i want to continue using ebay and paypal, so i suppose i just want to knwo whether anyone has created a new ebay and paypal account, with some advice on how to go about it

you just have to mark as shipped first, it's what i do then ship the goods once the payment is showing in the amazon account.

if you have'nt looked at the alternatives then take a look

I see well might give that a look.

The good thing about paypal is that once i receive instant payment I can transfer straight to my paypal topupcard and funds are available within 24 hours

in my experience items sell for more money on Amazon than on eBay but just watch the fees, if you think eBay's are bad :x

yeah the fees are harsh, but the exposure is great. How long does it take to transfer funds to your bank account though?

from disbursement into acocunt... between 3-5 working days

that's useless to me then,if I sell something then I have to wait that long just to get the money before I can order.

If it's a business then can't you keep a cash float? or are these high ticket items??

well i dont have much capital right now, i rely on getting the money first then buying the item. Sometimes high price items, but not always

fair enough, what about buying the goods on a credit card and pay the balance off each month, is that an option for you?

well in that case I would need a credit card with a big limit, and not sure they would give that to me
