  Being dumped. It's only happened once, ten years ago, but it still affects me to this day, despite being in a 9 year relationship since.

  I was once in what I thought was a committed relationship, only to find out my partner had been seeing my oldest friend behind my back for some time. Took me around 5 years to completely get over the pain of that, and not only because the ex made off with £3,000 of my money too.
  
  Thankfully I am now in a very happy and fulfilling marriage.

  Gutted, I like my dp to be honest, but it is rather plain. No make up though just lashes.

  The relationship that never was. We were at school together age 5 through to 16. In junior school I always gave him my Breakaway at break time.
  
  He was a blonde curly haired adonis. Friends but never lovers. I saw him a couple of times after we left school, but we went to different colleges and then both went off into the big wide world.
  
  Every now and then he appears in a dream, not sexual, just meeting up again.
  
  I googled his name and found him. He has a fantastic job, is still incredibly handsome, has beautiful children and a gorgeous ex wife. I would never contact him, its nice to have the imagination/occasional dream.
