You got twitter?

Who did you buy in?

The fact that youre asking is a sign in itself that it may not be the appropriate time to buy. The rally started 8 weeks ago. Risk / reward ratio at this stage is not ideal.

Disclosure: I sold everything I bought 6 weeks ago earlier today. Its a bear market rally and its about to run out of steam very soon...

I disagree bought in a well know building company start of April and the shares went from 19p which I paid to 52p so over doubled my money and sold at 51p.

Also bought some shares last week at half a pence and sold on Fri for 11p, their is still money to be had if you know what to invest in, obviously everything comes with a risk but its been good recently

Best of luck to you. I was just trying to give you some friendly advice

When people start asking about investments on forums etc, you know the markets are about to turn and most market professionals readily recognise this is a bear market rally. As an example, have a look at what happened in June 1930 and Oct 1931. Bear market rallies of 15 and 35% respectively before testing the previous lows / seeing new lows...

Thanks for your comments, it depends completely on which companies you are investing in at the moment as their are some key area that still have a lot of growth in them due to the country and worlds markets as the government are looking at new ways to improve the economic climate and its looking at this information to see were we as a country are investing our resources and time to watch the trends to invest wisely and hopefully reep the benefits.

Such as RBS when they failed in January you knew that the government would not let such a huge bank fail and therefore would fund or find ways to revive the bank therefore it was a short term and dead cert to invest in.

So you have sold all your shares today then? did you come out well?

Are you looking long term or short term as I have a few to adivise on.

Obviously it goes without saying only invest what you can afford and shares can go up as well as down and take my advice but also do some reading up of your own on any recommendation I give you.

Phew thought I best put that to be safe as tis is advice I will be giving.

Definitely i do understand that it can always go up or down.
i would like short term at the moment.

Yes markets are closed until tomorrow.

So what shares did you buy then?
Let us all know.

Taylor Wimpy was the best for me made a lot of money on them they were the building firm and then Cape Diamond Company made a lot on last week from half a pence to 11p.

Cape Diamond sounds like a good one for you.

So you sold for £220,000.00.
Thats very impressive.

A little less because sold at 10p missed the 11p high unfortunately, but can't complain

if you're investing that much would it not be better to seek professional advice as opposed to asking on a forum?
#19
UK was closed. All others including European, North American and Emerging Markets were open.

Ive had very strong views on the UK and the £ so have avoided investing in companies listed on the LSE / ISE / AIM in my personal accounts

not asking for advice, offering advice to others and to discuss share dealings
