Take a look at what this ebay seller is selling and his feedback.

How can this even be allowed? It is immoral on all levels:

He's made a huge amount of money out of Argos Reservations.

It's called hoarding and it restricts genuine buyers getting a single copy. A 'free market' is exactly why this country is in financial chaos at the minute.

#10
the cleaver sod he's got sense and now ....money(bit unfair though)
#11
They could have got , FIT by looking for the item , and shopping for it.. not paying him to do it, lazy.
#12
The buyers could always do a paypal chargeback and the proof would not really exist ;)

if they want to pay someone for somthing they should have done in the first place, then more fool them. if people dont buy the reservation numbers, then he wont do it, but the more they do, the more he will buy. It's just making money out of other peoples stupidity

That's pretty normal. Good for him.

Any one of these people could have reserved it themselves and not had to pay for it, the early bird catches the worm, they will pay for their laziness (which is ironic considering they are buying WiiFit lol)

The seller is an sdd, as are the buyers.

Anyway, I thought didgital delivery wasnt allowed on ebay anymore?
banned#30
I believe digital delivery was also banned, reporting to eBay will result in action...
#31
I cannot complain about this as used an ebay reservation code to get a Wii for xmas (got a £10 argos voucher in return so it cost me nothing).
But it would help if we knew when the expired argos reservations get reset and showed availability again as obviously these ebayers know the time. Anyone?

i dont see the problem its business!!
banned#34
Not business on eBay re Digital Delivery. It's a deliberate attempt to avoid rules. Nothing clever about it.

I would have no worries if the trader in question had actually purchased those items and intended to sell on, whether morally right or wrong.

He's found a gap in the market and used it to his full advantage .... who said business is fair?
It must be infuriating for people who want these high demand products, but if people had the patience to wait a few extra weeks for these products, they would get them ... and probably at a slightly cheaper price!
#36
All praise to the lad, he aint ripping anyone off hes found a way to exploit LAZY (ironic as its mainly for wii-fit) people. As many have said these codes only last a few days so if there wasnt a demand he would have nothing to sell, also everyone buying then seems to be extremely happy to do so and provides good feedback, im sensing the OP has some jealousy on this as hes made a few grand out of it, i say well done to him personally!

That's what always bugs me with things like this. There is rarely any occaion when you *have* to have the item at its time of release. If people didn't fall for the hype and resisted the 'must have it now' culture, you wouldn't get these kinds of things happening.

The seller has violated the eBay policy of Digital Delivery. Hardly worth a pat on the back.

Why the praise for violation of eBays t&c's ?

get over it mate, not like hes doin anyone any harm is it, how many bad feedbacks do you see or how many people complaining that they didnt get what they paid for??? Ebay is FULL of people violating the t&c's (why do you even care anyway its one of the richest companies in the world do you feel sorry for them????) People OBVIOUSLY want and are HAPPY to buy what this lad is selling, end of .
