"great stuff" organic kids meals, just had some delivered as a last resort till the new oven and kitchen is fitted.

shorts dates, as has come to be expected of ordering online BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

one was out of date: 3rd September, so not slightly out of date. but more than three weeks. 24days to be precise!!! im pretty peeved cos i only happened to check the date as didnt have enough room in freezer for them all, so wanted to put the longer dates in the fridge.

its a kids lamb hot pot, my poor little girl wouldve been sick with this for sure.

a day or two, i probably wouldnt be so mad as thats just human error (i'm always thinking the date is a different date to actaully is) but three weeks, theres just no excuse.

rarrr.

my god i hate my luck with online shopping lately.

having said that im chuffed with my boffer deals this week, two mini steroes are nifty. and i loving the izones, the packaging, etc. makes them look alot more than 7pound each. perfect gifts for the father in law and my uncle.

Sorry but wouldn't have known that, no Asda round here for at least 27 miles, but apparently it's the largest one in Europe

yeah sorry it was asda online.

i called and they just said theyll put the money back onto my card and theyll let the store know.

i ask how i complain they said that i can email. so i have sent a pretty long email, stating that its not only worried me cos i couldve made her sick, but had i given them to her and she was sick, i am 36 weeks pregannt and dont need a sick child so close to the birth, and that i now have to venture out for more meals, as i had ordered anough to last exactly till the kitchen fitted. ok so thats not strictly true, i ordered more just incase they hadnt delieverd all obvioulsy and it would be easy enough to pop over to morrisons for a potato and make her a micorwaved jpot for that day, but you do have tto milk these things.

i mainly concerned that i could have very easily made her sick, and she doesnt need that with her cold and teething, and i dont need it with the houe in dissaray and baby on way.

watch this space,

watch this space,

i don't think just refunding you the price of the meal is enough in this case!! maybe if it was today or yesterdays date but 24 days out of date is absolutely disgusting!!! :x make sure they give you some compenstation, i reckon they should give you at least the whole of your shopping order for free :whistling:

why dont you phone trading standards about this ? they would just love to know !

Why don't you give them a chance to sort it out first just an old fashioned idea.

I AM AWAITING A RESPONCE TO EMAIL. at least tesco had an automated service to agknowledge it had been recieved. these have nothng
#13
woo they replied. refunded the meal price, as i already knew and have given me five pounds of my next online shop. pretty shoddy considering the price of delievery is 4.50. oh well.

plus when i complianed to tesco about SHORT dates they gave me a tenner. but spose its better tan nothing. stillpretty peeved it happened at all to be fair.

complain again, say they think your daughters health is worth 50p considering delivery is so much...or tell them you accept the money but still have to report the incident to food standards agency http://www.food.gov.uk/
