Depends on the shop but if its computer\tech stuff blank CD\DVDs, memory cards and sticks, batteries (both recharge and 1 use), bags and cases(CD, camera, laptop, phone) spring to mind.

is this the new pound shop then, the £2.50 shop, lol:)

I haven't quite understood the question. You want to open a £2.50 (RRP £5) shop with just the 6 lines? Do you mean that one line would be photo paper - but not possible at this price and another would be flash drives - but very limited choice. Or do you mean just six items? Is this an after-dinner question or a genuine thing? Lost me a bit.

if this is serious hamish then I would personally look very carefully at things before you start, retail is terrible at the moment and while you may get a few weeks before xmas, you can forget after.
Many traders I know haven't made any money this year and are basing all their hopes on December!

Thanks.... To put all in perspective.... I just sold my PC and Mobile shop after 10 years of trading in Campbeltown.... Things were getting tough last year so was time to give up, so I know the retail game pretty well...

What I want to so with another couple of shops I have empty is for the run up to Xmas do a few lines ie Ink and photo paper / printer paper but I only want another £5 lines to go along with this etc...

I sold everything from Swiss army knifes to Graphics cards before, but I dont want the 500 lines again....

Just 6 good sellers and the odd other item....

Good ideas above though.... I still have a house full of chargers and data cables but a lot of these lines go out of date to quick..... so this will be avoided this time...

Xmas paper and card is a no no.... Too many asians are doing this atm....

So lines which cost £2-£3 and retail at £5 is what i'm looking for....

I know what you did - do you not remember me from other forums (didn't use this user name )?
See how long it takes you - you bought stuff from me though :-D

TBH just go for xmas stuff, gift sets and the like if you can find any for about the right price if there isn't much competition.
Tell you what I'm amazed at (if there isn't a shop local) how many people buy handbags and purses/wallets. There's a stall next to me selling them and they never stop all day, must be one of the busiest stalls in the market. Not fiver lines though.

On a completely different note, what happened to crazynokia/multiforums? Any idea? Went on the other day and it just said the domains for sale.

Go Go Hamsters?

Look good and I saw them on the telly with the kids a few weeks back....

Would need a decent supplier though... What else do you think will be big for this Christmas ?

At a decent price... Long gone are the Tamagotchi days
