So I bought a few items from this bicycle shop. However I received my order today and two boxes arrived. The first box was the stuff I ordered. The second box had my address on the box but this other persons address on the invoice. What should I do? The other persons stuff looks like it cost around £8.

Keep it. Even if you rang up, it wouldn't be worth it for them. The other person will ring up soon enough and they'll have to send it out again...

Do the honest thing and ring them up.

If they say it's not worth them picking it up then fine, but don't assume that.

Ok, Ill contact them, so if I post them back do I get my postage back?

I wouldn't see why not, but you need to ask them that wouldn't offer that would just see what they say.

Im assuming it arrived by courier? Just ask them to arrange to pick it up/have it collected.. They will probably do that considering you've been honest enough to tell them its been delivered to you by mistake.

Ring them and let them know, someone will be waiting for that delivery. Tight if you don't!

had 2 deliveries from a store. We didn't get round to using the deliveries till 8 months after they had been delivered. Turn's out we had been given 2 orders of £2.5k. Told the guys from the 2nd load er you sure this isn't a double order cock up. He said no. Couldn't make head or tail of what was on it the order sheets there was so much stuff. If the store came back to us now they could still have it as its still all in its original packaging. but they have't asked for it. That was over 18 months ago. We'll unpack it in about 6 months.

I got a £35 patio sent to me from Tesco Direct, I hadn't ordered it, but thought I might of been a comp prize as i have entered a load with them recently.

I called them up to find out what it was for. They told me a member of staff had been making random orders on my account and cancelling them, but this one slipped through to the courier.

They want me to take it back to a Tescos, I told them I am not happy to waste my time and petrol running around after their faults.
They said they will refund some petrol costs. Hmmm we will see.

I would just call them and see what they say. For £8 it may not be worth the courier's petrol to collect it again. x

I did think about questioning the whole " why is someone messing with my orders, but couldn't be bothered with it all lol" I did think it was a pressie for my sons 3rd birthday as it was a toy story patio set. Also I thought it was compo for them taking payment off bank card rather than gift card! Oh a had a nightmare week with Tesco Direct.

Anyways patio set still sat here at home. I am not taking it back till I get my petrol money :p Even though I work at a Tesco!
Strange haha.

Success, just got an email saying they were sorry for sending me the goods and that I can hold onto them due to the low value.
