Just a heads up / be cautious post. A few people have been complaining on facebook and posts on here about being locked out of their Shopitize accounts and even after trying to reset their passwords they still can't log in. Shopitize have not posted on their Facebook page since 1st September which is quite unusual and they are deleting peoples posts who are asking what's going on off their wall and comments and not responding to direct messages and emails.

If you can still access your account, it might be an idea to try and get any money you have owing to you out of there as a precautionary measure. Some people are saying they have been emailed about accounts being suspended / closed due to people using common devices and threatening action as the claims are fraudulent and that they are looking at reclaiming the money from them so all in all not looking too good.

Some people also reporting withdrawing their money and it's not appearing in their bank even after a week so please draw your own conclusions but just be aware what has been going on

Turns out they are just cracking down on fraudulent use I.e multiple accounts and login issues maybe a separate issue. Take a chill pill. X)
Panic posts like this can do irreprable damage to a company.

Companies do not usually send out accusing emails like they have done!

Yep, locked out of mine. I've requested to reset the password and haven't had an email to 'reset' it. Can't remember what my due balance was now...

Well that would be a tad annoying £3 in mine
would have thought withdrawing when you reach the minimum was best practise anyway

Would be a surprise as they obviously signed up to do TCB's groceries recently
edit;Would imagine they will switch entirely soon

Thanks for the warning, had just reached the minimum to withdraw, so have done. Took bloody ages to get there.

Says 'Your withdrawal request will be reviewed within 2 days".

I have had my account locked , messaged em , they won't reply , the generic email they sent out to everyone was awful ! accusing people of wrong doing . It seem's to be accounts from people whom have credit in their accounts , P.S don't forget shopitize a week ago are the app TOPCASHBACK are using for its food cash backs , here is a copy of the email that was sent out to thousands of customers when they emailed shopitize

Hi there,
As you have noticed you can no longer access your account.
As a precautionary method against fraudulent activity we have deactivated all accounts that are linked to multiple other accounts.
We understand that in some cases friends or family members may share a communal device when using Shopitize and we have taken this into consideration. The account you are referring to is connected to a number of other accounts that is above the level we deem to be fraudulent and therefore unfortunately the account has been suspended.
If you believe that you are not in breach of our terms & conditions and the accounts associated with yours are justified, then please provide any knowledge you may have as to why these associated accounts may appear.
We are currently looking further into this and when we have a better understanding of the situation we will be in touch to the email address your account is registered under.
If you have been intentionally using multiple accounts to take advantage of our system, then we advise that you use this investigation period to come forward and return any funds claimed illegitimately before legal action will be taken against you.
Thank you.
Sara

cheers. withdrawing mine...hopefully it'll go through. aww...I always liked shopitize the mosy (of the cashback sites). hope it doesn't fall on its face

ta, use checkoutsmart, clicksnap and topcashback...think them three worked together or something so if they repeated offers they then had linked my accounts (dunno how, had different receipts for offers...must have linked me by email) so couldn't do them more than once. Never heard of greenjimm so will look into that
#18
The apps are listed on visitors posts on shopitizes Facebook page , **** greenjinn clicksnapp and checkoutsmart ! Shopitize as took over the groceries cash back on TOPCASHBACK just over a week ago ! So checkoutsmart and clicksnapp now have nothing to do with TCB ! They are with quidco , if you have credit in Shopitize I'd be tempted to withdraw ASAP ! Check their Facebook page

Thank you for this OP I wouldn't have realised not on facebook hadn't read any shopitize threads for a while

I don't really understand what could have gone wrong they are just middle men/women take a cut of dosh from the merchant and pass it on not rocket science
any fraudulent activity' shouldn't have made any difference to the business model(unless it was them)
#21
Well that's silly, they have to review the withdrawal anyone makes so if they wanted it for themselves withdrawing it now wouldn't make it get to you, it would actually bring it to their attention more and now since most people will be withdrawing their rewards there will be a Hugh backlog since only they have 1 or 2 people working on this. So don't expect to see your money anytime soon.

Tweet them and ask them then - just pointing out the facts on Facebook and other posts and the emails that have been sent to people asking them to pay back money have had fraudulently obtained....

Good to see they're paying out people. ILoveCashback on the other hand, is 100% scam like everyone knows but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as their website went live again. Nope, never got the cashback that I had on my account and I requested the amount to be sent to my Paypal.

A lot of people have requested withdrawals over the last few days and they have received an automated acknowledgement which says that their request is being processed. It remains to be seen whether these people actually receive their money or not. On Shopitize's Facebook page, a user stated that a couple of his friends requested payouts last week and haven't received their money yet, so it's not looking good :(

also received this email its not very nice to be accused of a wrong doing like this. Bad management comes to mind. I also have money in my shopitize account but unfortunately its blocked. Looks like I worked hard for nothing. So if you do have cash in your account GET IT NOW. Good luck everyone hope it sorts itself out anyway.

Yayyy! I loves Shopitize, so crossing my fingers and toes they stay - never really liked CheckOutSmart, or TopCashBack (tho liking them more now they shared/stole stuff off Shopitize), or ClickSnap.
