This is the place to post your very own photos of hols, scenes, skies and all things of interest. Accompanying descriptions and information plus general photography chat are very welcome. If you make sure the WIDTH of your pic does not exceed 780pixcels then the thread will not "break". So please resize before uploading (or Photobucket has its own editing and resizing).

Hellfire posts an index of useful links at the end of each month. Direct links to them are in post #2

Jan posts >490 Feb >1780 Mar>3206 April>5001 May> 5694 June > 6354 July>6907 Aug>7865 Sept >8511 Oct >8819 Nov>8965 Dec

This year's calendar will have a seasonal theme, so photos chosen for Jan/Feb - winter; Mar/May - spring: June/Sept - summer; Oct/Nov -autumn. Please see the links in post #2 for details.

Not quite a baby, but not very big!

Taken in Turkey, wild.

Evening Macdoona and all. Yes, the more the merrier.

I think that tortoise fits the description very nicely, Rocky. Keep looking for lambs though ( in a good way).

That looks like quite a posh area scotland88 the hazy houses all seem to have boats.

:giggle: It was!!

esq leaving off the numbers hope you don't mind) that looks like Universal to me - very good.
Your pittenweem pic is absolutely great - huge wow factor.
This is something really helpful that I was told (about a similar but nothing like as good pic of a bay) in the old thread: I know you'll lose some in cropping but that photo would look even better with a level horizon.

...and ... I have literally had my breath taken away by your photo shauneco - is it in America?

Hey Scotland88.. we're all of us trying to improve. this is a great friendly place to get some free advice..
I noticed your flower pics were much more clear than your US shots..
The US ones have a blurr warning on the exif information, so maybe you were not holding the camera steady, or needed a faster shutter speed maybe..
Anyway all good stuff, keep posting.
