SIGN THE LEEDS PETITION!!

The 15 point deduction which is to be applied to the start of the 2007/8 football season (on top of the 10 point deduction applied to the 2006/7 season) will effectively relegate Leeds United AFC to the 2nd division (4th tier) football during the 2008/9 season...

If the deduction occurs the team wont be able to strenghen its side with the quality of player it so requires.

Leeds United AFC puts the city of Leeds on the world map with fans across the globe, and the 'winding up' of the club, as i believe would happen due to relegation, could have financial implications on the city as a whole...

I believe this move by the football league to be unjust and unfair.

This doesnt make sense as Leeds are nowhere near the relegation zone (unfortunately!).

I'll give it some thought.

I'd love to sign but I ....
1) Totally agree with the deduction of points. Mr Bates was trying to play the system last season
2) Support Swansea City and as such hope Dirty Leeds languish in League 1 for another year

#7

from an lfc fan

just because they are a big club doesnt mean that they should be in a higher division, and can someone tell me why the op says they will be in the fourth tier next season?

should be throw out the league for what they've done.

disgusts me when i support a team like walsall. for years we've only spent what we've got, rarely splash out on big players as we still have debts from ITV digital days.

But teams like leeds can just dump all the debt and start again without paying it off. Pure scum and we are now deservedly above them in the league.

I would hardly call leeds a big club. Only their fans truly believe that old chestnut.
