Silvercrest Products supplied by Lidl


I purchased a Silvercrest Mini DVD Player from Lidl.
The Instruction Manual gave an E-mail Address. 'service@mysilvercrest.de' A request for clarification on a technical point was answered in 6 minutes only to advise that the company- TYPHOON ANUBIS with various brands, including Silvercrest was declared insolvent and has been liquidated.

Typhoon are operated with a current webpage www.typhoon.de but can only provide services and support for a limited number of TYPHOON Products. For this reason my Mini DVD Player is being returned to Lidl

    That's a shame , as I have had a few SilverCrest products over the years and have never had a problem with them .I bought 2 SilverCrest Cd/mp3 players , the ones you fit in cars . There really good and have excellent sound quality , there out of the guarantee period now ,so it doesn't matter now the company has gone bust .
    Yeap pity. Just bought the USB DVD from Lidl. Excellent product....
    why not just keep hold of the product if they are good then count your losses if it goes bust
