Vodafone currently do a sim only at £15 a month, giving you 150 mins & 500 texts. http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/mobile-phones/sim-only/pay-monthly/
Orange are £15 per month giving 150 mins & 300 texts.

If you are a Virginmedia customer you can get 300 mins & 300 texts for £15. I have one of these and pay £10 per month, worth ringing them and haggling!

If your phone is locked to Vodafone you will have to get it unlocked to accept any other network, if its unlocked you can have any sim you like, just pop it in and away you go! Hope that helped!

I have looked all over for a £10 a month sim only with no luck so far ( will keep looking) it does seem that the majority are at the £15 and above mark at the moment. Unless you are with virginmedia im afraid they wont haggle the price down. If you are currently with vodafone, why not give them a call and tell them you are interested in their sim only deal but is it possible for them to lower the priceor you will have to look elsewhere?, worth a try! :)

You wont get it cheaper on Vodafone they won't go any lower. But if you get a £15, 12 month contract and get a phone out of them say a k770i and flog it for £60 then it will in effect only cost you £10 a month.
