no, it will still count as part of your allowance... it's not upto you to track what country everyone's phones are in when you happen to text/call them!
#2
No because your texting from the UK if you were in ibiza however it would cost you on ur credit.
#3
This is assuming you are texting his UK mobile number of course
#4
Texts from uk to abroad are included but from abroad to the uk are not

He'll pay for them eventually!

But he'll be being charged for receiving them as he's the one roaming.

No he won't be charged at all. My OH was in st.lucia for 2 weeks earlier this year and i was texting her; it cost her 49p to text back home but cost me nothing to text out there and cost nothing to receive the texts.

Good point, it's calls that are charged. Don't think texts are charged?

It won't cost to receive texts when abroad unless its an MMS

Then again, 02 simplicity tariffs pre recent changes allowed for roaming texts to be charged * 4 from your inclusive bundle. Well worth keeping that contract especially if you intend to be abroad for long periods :)

Same applies. It's not for him to know where the message is sent from.

You could say the same for calls!!

If you're roaming (taking a uk mobile abroad) then you'll pay the international part as others don't necessarily know you're abroad.
