hi, whats the cheapest price from skegness, to Gatwick Airport leaving on the 6th of sept, about 14,00 and returning on the 14th of sept looking for a train anytime between 10am-1pm its for 5 adults or 5 adults 1 child using family railcard, not sure if its cheaper on own or with railcard to london, went to train station and they quoted £222.10 any one find it cheaper? its for a return, so either singles ticket there and back or return if it works out cheaper

it'd be 200 on the coach, with national express, but the times are quite different.

You could have a look, b ut you only save £20.

£180 without the child, or if the child is under 3 years old.

departs skegness:
10:40
arrives gatwick:
18:20

return:

departs gatwick:
09:05
arrives skegness:
16:50

You are leaving skeggy to go abroad? How very odd! I have a strange affection for skeggy, if theres something i'm after thats proving difficult to find you can virtually guarantee to find it on Eastgate market! Odds on it will be snide but at least you will find one!

thanks for that t0mm but prefure train as its alot quicker,....well......... most of the time that is lol any 1 find it cheaper than 200?:( been looking for some advance fares, is it true if u dont use ur ticket on the specified time of day in london u lose the right to go on the next journy? with that ticket

Why would you choose Gatwick, living in Skeggy?

Humberside, Robin Hood and EMA are much nearer.

Fair enough, but is it cheaper in the long run?
#10
it is yes, with the holiday booking its saved me around 200 odd,as its alot cheaper flying from london than it is from manchester or east midlands, if you look on any holiday site look at the prices for any hol from manchester and any london 9/10 it works out cheaper i find, if i went to manchester it would still cost us around 100 odd in train fares so in all its saved me about 100 quid, its about the same time to get to manchester by train as it is london so all in all theres no diffrence really time wise
