do these work? just started taking them a fortnight ago but will wait a few months to see if theres any benefit. can anyone recommend any good ones or are they all the same?

Not sure, but if you want your nails to be stronger, try Avon's strong results, it's fab. You put it on like a nail varnish once or twice a day and it completely disappears - no nail varnish type substance left at all - and my nails have definitely improved.
Oh, and it's cheap too, especially if you pick it up new in box off eBay like I did :thumbsup:

wonder if its the same stuff ive used years ago, sounds like it but it had a different name. was told on here to use sally hansens hard as wraps but it just peels off. will have a peek on ebay thanks

donna do you want stronger nails or longer ones, i only ever use sally hanson maximum growth, tried all the hardener ones and all they do is make my nails brittle

as for what you aksed in op, my friend uses them every day, i tried for a few months and have to say i dont think it didnt anything for my hair or nails

stronger, mine are really bendy and flake really easily, but nicer skin and hair would also be great :)

yes mine used to be pretty bendy and really thin, but over the years from using maximum growth they are now pretty solid, i just found the harder stuff made them too brittle, so yes they where strong but used to crack and peel all the time

The Avon stuff sounds a bit like the stuff you use, the strength doesn't make them brittle, they are just healthier if that makes sense, much less prone to bending/splitting/hang nails/that wierd thing where they sort of go into 2 layers/breaking, just generally healthier and stronger. Easy peasy to apply as well.
