not sure what your asking, there is extra cabling involved, its not just a straight forward swap.

I think if you look on the back of the boxes there are two inputs from the dish going into the back of the sky+ box and only one going into the normal box, so its not just a question of buying a sky+ box and pluging the normal input into it - you need to get the connector from the dish right. I think. :)

thank you everyone

You have got a sky subscription? Else you'll have to pay £10 per month to get Sky + without the extra channels.

i have seen sky+ work without a subscription, but ud need to do that double wire thingie

If your subscribing to the Sky channels a second hand Sky + box will work and record [you will need to ring Sky and they will match the card with the reciever]. If you are just replacing your existing box just unscrew the F connector [from dish ]and re-connect .If you want to add a Sky box , just replace the LNB with a twin or quad LNB and connect a new cable from this and route to the room you want to put the box in .

Sky+ box, Sky card, Sky Subscription, two feeds (wires from dish) is all you need.

Sky+ recording is only free if you have a valid subscription and this includes a multiroom sub.

yes got sky subscription and multiroom, as i have sky + in lounge and old sky box in bed room

so if i want to use second sky plus box i need to contact sky and let them know ? i think i have a whire from dish already in bed room

You need to let them know if your changing the box that has a subscription card . The box's are matched to the cards and visa versa .You cannot just insert a card into any box , this avoids any theft issues .

You can either buy and install you own second cable (like this) or alternatively ring sky and find out how much they would charge to supply you with a Sky+ box replacement for your multiroom and install it for you.
