Sky HD - Selection of Channels To Be Removed in September

Next month unless you subscribe to the various packages ie Entertainment, knowledge, lifestyle, etc the selection of HD channels are to be removed in September.

For example I only have entertainment and music package but get all the HD channels as part of my HD subscription

I rang up to complain saying I subscribed to HD on the understanding I received those extra free channels and sky are now removing them

The sky representative spoke to her line manager and came back to me saying that customers who call up and ask will be allowed to keep the HD channels until the end of their 12 month contract

They did the same with the TCM movie channel last year

Hope you all find useful

Good luck!!!

I'd imagine you don't get all HD channels, like the premium ones, Sports Movies etc.

Another reason I am glad I no longer have to pay that evil company any of my money

Of course you don't get the channels if you don't subscribe to the package, otherwise everyone would just pay for hd and not sports, movies, ect

For me HD mix was 40+ channels in HD £10 a month (on an existing 2 mix Pack) at £21 for 2 Variety and entertainment (Sly now want to say anything that has an SD equivalent to the #HD channel you must pay for the SD first) Even though the HD mix channel line up clearly had the HD version for your £10 a month fee

If you are in your 12 month contract make sure to phone and tell them you want things to stay the same until the end of you minimum term contract

+1, I would sooner stick pins in my eyes than give any of my money to anything related to Murdoch.

That's gotta be harder than being a vegan.
